Founder, Mary Cross is a licensed Chaplain through the I.F.O.C. who holds an

AA in Psychology Christian Counseling.

Disaster Relief

 We provide immediate relief supplies & hot meals during a natural disaster: severe thunderstorm, tornado, hurricane, flood, fires etc. 

Who receives the help?

Beauregard Parish is always the main priority of this organization; however, we go where the need is to set up a P.O.D. (point of distribution) to immediately begin serving as we wait for outside help to come in. If a neighboring parish is hit, we try to load up as many supplies as possible to bring to the affected area. When out of state help is needed, NSO assembles a team to cook hot meals and deliver relief supplies. 

Food Commodities

Our target audience is the Senior/Veteran residents of Beauregard Parish. We provide monthly food commodities to supplement the time between paychecks. We also offer weekly bags donated from Market Basket's deli and bakery.

Community Outreach

NSO participates in a wide variety of community/Parish events and activities such as: NNO, Beauregard Parish Watermelon Festival & Fair, Miracle on Washington, 519th Appreciation Day, VFW Post 3619, Operation Keep A Vet Warm, etc.
